N-facing cove hardwood (dominated by Carya ovata and Acer saccharu, with Aesculus, Carpinus, Fraxinus, Prunus, Quercus, Ulmus) forest with sparse Juniperus communis amidst extensive limestone outcrops. Growing over mosses in overhang.
