Small colony and scattered in extensive marsh, with
Eupatorium perfoliatum, E. maculatum, Typha, Cacalia
suaveolens, most of plants at base of roadway, not in marsh
itself. 1.4 m. tall; rhizomes with tuberous thickenings. Rays
bright yellow; disc slightly darker yellow-orange.
