    Plant at least 3 dm tall; leaves 4-7 cm long, 8-12 mm wide; thyrse of 2-4 verticillasters, calyx 4-6 mm, corolla dark purlple, anthers dehiscent, leaving distal ends slightly saccate. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
