west of Fairfax County on Interstate Hwy 66. West bound side
(north side) about 150 feet west of rest area's visitor center
building in 1-66 ditch, artificial wetland water control structure.
38° 48' 31.9" 77° 29' 40.5" with Garmin III GPS unit; accuracy
seems about 100 feet; 20 point average, at point where car
parked.
A few hundred culms, colonial by very stout rhizomes.
