T. 10 N.f R. 11 W., SW 1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 section 19. East side of IL Route 1, 2.7 km (1.7 mile) - 3.0 km (1.9 mile) south of Ernst Road. Along dismantled railroad, near Little John Grain Company (at RD 950), Snyder. Snyder, IL 7.5 min. quadrangle. Elevation about 560 feet. Moist silty loam. Remnant prairie/savanna, west-facing slope, partial shade, with Helianthus mollis, Rhus glabra, Diospyros virginiana, Coreopsis tripteris. Rays - disk golden yellow; leaf underside pale, dark above; local perennial herb 1-1.5 meter tall with alternate, opposite, orwhorled leaves. Steven R.
