Canada. British Columbia. Rocky Mountains: Southwest slope of Selwyn Range, east side of Kinbasket lake; Along Ptarmigan Creek, between entrance to creek at Kinbasket Lake to 8 km along road, about 45 km S of beginning of Canoe Lake Road.

Habitat
On acidic, mica shist, wet cliffs and boulders in Thuja-Tsuga-Pseudotsuga-Pinus monticola dominated montane forest, with waterfalls and swiftly-flowing streams on S facing steep slopes.
