Just S of to of steep portion of road to China Harbor beach. Localized; fenced seasonal waterhole; Monterey Shale. Elevation: 680 feet. Associated species: Malm parviflora, Brassica geniculata, Sisymbrium officinale, Foeniculum vulgare, Chenopodium murale, Atriplex semibaccata, Polygonum, Silybum marianum, Marrubium vulgare, Rumex crispus, Spergularia bocconnii, Amaranthus, Lactuca serriola, Convolvulus arvensis, Bromus carinatus, B. mollis.
