Habitat: Very common, forming dense stands in shallow
water around the edge of Lily Lake.
Plants to 3 meters tall; stems triangular.
Associated taxa: Ulex, Oenanthe, Spiraea, Rubus
spectabilis, Lysichiton, Azolla, Callitriche.
