Latitude 38° 25' 70", Longitude 107° 24' 03", Altitude ~ 2599 m. Locally common. Some plants more than 1 m tall. Ray flowers yellow, disk flowers becoming brownish-yellow with age. Peduncles becoming maroonish. Stems quite succulent.. Chromosome voucher. Silica gel dried leaves preserved at the DNA Bank, Missouri Botanical Garden. Robert Merrill King and Robert M.
