Weakly rhizomatous, forming large tussocks, locally
common in wet sandy loam of bog with Sarracenia spp.,
Pleea, Eriocaulon, and Cleistes plus some titi and
bayberry; ca. 1 mi N of rte 20, 1 mi W of rte 65, and
