Lat.: 34*49'49"N Long.: 110»57,07”W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 5725 ft. In disturbed, rocky soil along roadside with Atriplex, Artemisia & Sphaeralcea. Suffrutescent perennials from branched, woody caudices; herbage glutinous & minutely scaberulous; involucres to 4 mm high; phyllaries strongly graduated, chartaceous with a rhombic green tip; ray florets 3-5 per head, pistillate, the ligules yellow; disc florets usually 4; pappus of + 8 narrow scales.
