Plants common along hwy and adjacent flat
shoulder areas, plants concentrated in water
run-off areas, gravelly soil. 1.25-3.0 ft.
tall, many well past flowering. Hybrid
swarm between £. squarrosa & G. fastigiata.
Radiate plants show numerous intermediate
characteristics between these two taxa.
Growing intermixed and hybridizing with
Wetter 571 (£. fastigiata).
Elev. 4500-5000 ft.
