Plants common but scattered in weedy field. Sandy, slightly rocky soil. 1.5-2.0 ft. tall. Many plants past flowering. Apparently biennials or weakly perennial, only 1 plant seen forming new rosettes on flowering plant. Seedlings not very common. This is the same collection site as Wetter 541, 08 Sep 1979.
