Plants scattered in rocky, shoulder of hwy in pine-spruce-aspen forest zone. 2.0-2.5 ft. tall. Most with 1 main stem from the base. Apparently biennials, none seen forming new rosettes on flowering plants. Very mature, not many buds available. Seedlings common.
