Plants scattered, growing in rocky, sandy soil along edge of road and along a turnout on left hand side of road. 0.9-1.8 ft. tall. Most plants with just one main stem, a few with 2-several stems from the base. Many plants past flowering. Growing with Helianthus, Ambrosia and other Asteraceae. Elev. 6600-6800 ft.
