Plants scattered along hillside under billboards in red, rocky soil, growing on both eroded slopes as well as on more stable flat areas. 1.2-2.5 ft. tall. Biennials. Growing with various weeds, Artemisia. and grasses. Mixed population, growing with one plant of the discoid G. inornata E. Greene (Wetter 545B). Elev. 6400-6600 ft.
