In Manitou Springs, along Manitou Ave., lot between 7-11 store and car wash, across street from Green Willow Motel. Plants growing among boulders in red soil, only 5-6 individuals present. 1.5-3.0 ft. tall. Most plants branching from the base, with 2-several stems arising from a taproot. Apparently biennials. None seen forming new rosettes on flowering plants. 02877755
