Plants of COLORADO Grindelia subalpina E. Greene CO: Teller Co. In Cripple Creek, in a small park at corner of 1st and Bennett Ave. Plants scattered, not very common, in rocky soil along gravel road in park and area between parking lot in park and the street. 2 . 7-4.8 dm tall. Apparently perennial, flowering stalks forming new rosettes. Growing and hybridizing (Wetter 842) with Wetter 841 (G. inornata), less common than 841. Elev. 9500 ft.
