Plants common but scattered along small
drainage ditch, at back of rest area, in
hard, clayish soil. 1.5-6.0 dm tall,
some plants with one main stem that
branches above the middle, others
branching from the base, one or two
plants have insect galls on the main
stems. In full flower. Usual weeds,
Melilotus, and grasses present.
