CO: Dolores Co. Along US 666, 0.9 mi E of
Colorado-Utah state line.
Plants common along gravelly hwy embankment,
and shoulder. Scattered in both mowed and
non-mowed areas. 1.0-2.5 ft. tall. Most
well past flowering, young heads are very
resinous. Growing intermixed and hybridizing
(Wetter 579-80) with Wetter 580, G. arizonica
var. stenophylla.
