jet CO 141 & US 666 near Dove Creek, at top
of grade.
Plants very common in rocky shoulder of hwy
and along edges of gravel turnout area. Also
under pinyon pine and junipers. 1.0-3.0 ft.
tall. Most plants with multiple stems from
the base, some seem to be perennial with
flowering plants forming new rosetttes.
This is the same population as that collected
on 07 Jul 1980 as Wetter 640 (immature).
