CO. San Miguel Co.: along CO 141, 8.2 ml N of San Miguel-Dolores Co. line, 15.0 mi N of jct CO 141 & US 666 near Dove Creek, at top of grade.
Plants very common in rocky shoulder of hwy
and along edges of gravel turnout area. Also
under pinyon pine and junipers. 1.0-3.0 ft.
tall. Most plants with multiple stems from
the base, some seem to be perennial with
flowering plants forming new rosetttes.
