US 50 & CO 92, 10.1 mi E of Gunnison-Montrose
Co. line.
Plants scattered along shoulder of hwy in
clayish soil, more numerous in immediate area
of hwy but this area has been mowed. Only
basal rosettes present in mowed area.
Flowering plants 1.0-2.25 ft. tall, most
branching from base, 4-5 stemmed plants common.
Biennials. Growing with Typha, Meli lotus
and grasses.
