The New York Botanical Garden Plants of COLORADO Grindelia squarrosa (Pursh) Dunal var. serrulata (Rydb.) Steyerm. CO: Mesa Co. Along CO 340, 1.0 mi E of west entrance to Colorado National Monument. Scattered individuals in rocky hwy shoulder. Plants growing in non-mowed area well past flowering, those in mowed area still flowering. Mowing appears to be recent. 1.0-3.0 ft. tall.
