CO. Fremont Co.: 0.4 mi E of Coaldale, along US 50, at jct with field access road.
Plants common in loose, rocky soil along hwy
shoulder, field access road, and in adjacent
pasture area. 1.5-2.0 ft. tall. Multiple
stems from the base. Most well past
flowering. Apparently biennials, none found
forming new rosettes on flowering plants.
Flowers being visited by bees, beatles, and
ants. Growing and apparently hybridizing
(Wetter 566B) with the discoid G. aphanactis
Rydb. (Wetter 556A).
