Plants scattered along roadside and in
ditches in sandy to gravelly soil. Growing
in open grassland. This taxon primarily
restricted to the hwy shoulder. 0.6-1.2 ft.
tall. Growing with the discoid G. aphanactis
Rydb. (Freeman & Wetter 2175) and the radiate
G. acutifolia (Freeman & Wetter 2176B).
Freeman & Wetter 2175 is the most common
taxon at this location.
