The New York Botanical Garden Plants of WYOMING Grindelia sauarrosa (Pursh) Dunal var. serrulata (Rydb.) Steyerm. WY. Fremont Co.: along US 26, in Wind River Indian Reservarion, 4.0 mi SE of jet US 26 & US 287, 7.0 mi NW of Morton, ca 13 mi NW of jet US 26 & WY 132. Plants growing along dry sandy, hwy shoulder. Common but scattered. 0.9-2.0 ft. tall. Many with multiple stems form the base, others with only 1 main stem. Biennial, some of smaller plants appear to be weakly perennial.
