Plants growing along dry sandy, hwy shoulder.
Common but scattered. 0.9-2.0 ft. tall. Many
with multiple stems form the base, others
with only 1 main stem. Biennial, some of
smaller plants appear to be weakly perennial.
Heads are not very resinous. Growing with
various grasses.
