At jct of 54E (5600 W) and US 287 (4700 N). Plants growing in grayish, clay soil, probably alluvial, appears to be flood plain of Cache la Poudre river. 1.5-2.5 ft. tall. Common, with some individuals forming large multi-stemmed clumps, other plants 1-3 stemmed. Biennials, many rosettes present. Growing with Cichorium, Lactuca, & Helianthus.
