Plants common along hwy shoulder in rocky
soil and on sandy embankment. 0.7-1.5 ft.
tall. Most with 1-several stems from the
base. In full flower, apparently biennials,
none seen forming new rosettes on flowering
stems. Growing with various weedy grasses,
and also growing intermixed with the radiate
G* laciniata Rydb. (Wetter 983). NO hybrids
found at this location.
