The New York Botanical Garden Plants of WYOMING Grindelia squarrosa (Pursh) Dunal var. serrulata (Rydb.) Steyerm. WY: Laramie Co. In Cheyenne, corner of 16th and Dey Ave., just west of Travel Lodge Motel. Plants very common but scattered in sandy soil in vacant lot. 0.5-2.0 ft. tall. Many plants with 2-several stems arising from a woody taproot. Most appear to be biennial, although some of the smaller flowering plants are forming new rosettes. In full flower.
