Plants common in rocky soil of hwy shoulder,
many plants occurring in mowed area, others
in non-mowed areas. Those in non-mowed area
well past flowering, those in mowed area
also well advanced, few buds present.
1.0-2.0 ft. tall. Growing with various
Asteraceae and grasses.
Growing intermixed and apparently
hybridizing (Wetter 585) with G aphanactis
(Wetter 586). Less common than tne £.
aphanactis at this location.
