Plants scattered along rocky shoulder of hwy.
1.4-1.8 ft. tall. Biennials, none forming
new rosettes. Most plants with several stems
from the base. Usual roadside weeds present.
Two other taxa of Grindelia, G. arizonica A.
Gray var. stenophvlla Steyerm. (Wetter 970)
and G. decumbens E. Greene var. decumbens
(Wetter 971)f are also present. Wetter 972
is the most common taxon at this location.
