PLANTS OF THE GUI ANAS Cyperaceae Eleocharis maculosa (Vahl) Roem. & Schult. Det. M.T. Strong, 12011 GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Tulameng Mtn, ca 4 km E-SE of summit (summit atN 5°33'10.6", W 60°57'28.8"), at base of high falls. 674 m 5°32'19.8"N 60°57'20.3"W. Splash basin. Transitional from woody krunholtz forest to entirely herbaceous, rich in grasses. Herb forming dense clumps in seepage areas. Bases of plant brown. Flowering scapes to 40cm. Bracteoles brown.
