Las Animas Co.: along US 160, 36.0 mi W of Las Animas-Baca Co. line, 9.0 mi E of jet US 160 & CO 389, this at jet with RD 157.9. Plants common in sandy soil along hwy shoulder and ditch, also common in adjacent pasture. 0.5-1.5 ft. tall. Heads very sticky, many plants with multiple stems from the base, others with just one stem that braches from above the middle. Biennials.
