5°42'30.8"N 60°18'5.4"W. Savanna bounded by gallery forest. Grading
from areas of standing water to drier habitats with rock outcrops and
shrubby vegetation islands. Recently burned. Forming clumps in thin soil
around rock outcrops, recently burned. Leaf bases reddish brown. Bracts
brown. Plant with lemon-citrus odor. Silica sample, [collection number
mistakenly duplicated from 2009 trip],
