Plants common in black, clay soil at edge of
mowed shoulder and in adjacent field. 5.0-6.0
ft. tall, with single stem arising from ground
and then branching above the middle. Leaves
soft and pliant. Growing with various grasses,
Conyza, also common back under willows.
