The New York Botanical Garden Plants of OKLAHOMA Grindelia lanceolata Nutt. var. texana (Scheele) Shinn. OK: Murray Co./ Turner Falls Park, along road to Outlaw Cave, just down from restroom. Plants scattered in very rocky, limestone soil. Forming small multi-branched clumps, 2-3 ft tall. Most plants have dropped their lower leaves. Growing with Quercus, Juniperus, and thistles.
