Univ. of Wisconsin Herbarium (WIS). Field work supported by a grant from the Natural History Museums Council. Plants common, in rocky dry wash as it crosses the hwy, also common down the wash towards the river. 1.5-2.0 ft. tall. Most with multiple stems from the base, in full flower, being visited by a large number of different insects. Some plants forming new basal rosettes, perhaps weakly perennial.
