Plants very common along hwy shoulder and in
adjacent pasture. 1.5-2.0 ft. tall, perennials
with basal rosettes. Young heads very sticky.
Foliage very dissected. Growing in Artemisia*
grassland area. Growing with G. squarrosa
var. serrulata (Wetter 721). NO hybrids found.
