Plants very common along rocky
embankment, In adjacent pasture below
hwy, and along gravel road. 1.3-4.6 dm
tall. Most plants with multuiple stems
from woody taproot. Perennials, some
with last year's flowering stalks still
attached. Growing is sagebrush-grass-
land area.

1984.)
