Plants of UTAH Grindelia laciniata Rydb. UT: San Juan Co. Along US 191, 3.05 mi N of jet US 191 & US 666 at Monticello, this at jet with gravel road, San Juan Co. Rd. 120 (Begin 120 Gordon Res). Plants very common along rocky embankment, In adjacent pasture below hwy, and along gravel road. 1.3-4.6 dm tall. Most plants with multuiple stems from woody taproot. Perennials, some with last year's flowering stalks still attached. Growing is sagebrush-grass- land area. (This is the same population as Wetter 720, 14 Aug 1980 & Wetter 777, 14 Aug 1984.)
