of Colorado-Utah state line.
Only 1 plant found in rocky soil along hwy
shoulder. 1.0 ft. tall. Apparently
perennial, forming new rosette on flowering
plant. Intermediate in head size and shape,
phyllary^characteristics and leaf morphology
between %. laciniata Rydb. (Wetter 717) and
G. sauarrosa (Pursh) Dunal var. serrulata
(Rydb.) Steyerm. (Wetter 718). Wetter 717 is
the predominant taxon at this location.
