UT. San Juan Co.: along US 191, 2.8 mi N of
jet US 191 & US 666 at Monticello, this at
the jet with San Juan Co. Rd. 149 (begin
Gordon Reservoir).
Plants scattered along hwy shoulder and
embankment and in along edges of a field in
clay soil. 0.5-1.5 ft. tall, with 1-several
stems from the base. Perennials, flowering
plants forming new rosettes. This field
which used to have a large population of this
taxon has just been plowed, however there are
still numerous plants at the edges of the
pasture.
This collection is from the same population
as that of Wetter 720 (14 Aug 1980), Wetter fi
Delendick 777 (14 Aug 1984) & Wetter 888 (03
Sep 1985).
