In river bed, sand or rocks, dense thickets.

Description
Fruit solitary or in pairs, depressed turbinate, tuberculed, 5 or 6 ridges at summit, 1/2 in diameter. Shrub or small tree. Leaves glabrous, minutely gland dotted. Lowest pair 2nd nerves basal. Fruits solitary or paired on 1/2 in pedicels, turbinate flattened, tuberculate. Anthers crimson.
