El Paso Co.: Manitou Springs, hillside just opposite corner of Manitou Ave. & Mayfair Ave., this is across the street from the Chamber of Commerce and between J & B Liquors and Joe's Corral Restaurant. Plants rare, only 1 found, along hillside under billboards in red, rocky soil, growing on eroded slopes. Ca 2 ft. tall. Biennial. Growing with various weeds, Artemisia, and grasses. Mixed population, growing intermixed with the the radiate G. subalpina E. Greene (Wetter 545A), 545A is much more common at this location. Elev. 6400-6600 ft.
