Plants of COLORADO Grindelia inornata E. Greene CO: Jefferson Co. Along US 285, at jct with Soda Lake Rd. Area along gravel parking lot, near corner of Soda Lake Rd. and Hampden Ave. Plants scattered in dry, claylsh soil, In highly disturbed area. Most plants with 1-several stems from a woody base. 4.8-7.8 dm tall. Growing with various weedy grasses, ragweed, Helianthus, & Liatris. Also growing intermixed with Wetter 830 (Grindelia subalpina), but less common than Wetter 830. Elev. 5700 ft. Mark Allen Wetter 829 26 Aug 1985 Univ. of Wisconsin Herbarium (WIS).
