Plants of COLORADO Grindelia inornata E. Greene CO: Park Co. Along US 24/CO 9, 0.3 mi E of jct CO 9 & US 24 W of Hartsel, 0.9 mi W of jct CO 9 & US 24 E of Hartsel. Common In sandy loam along hwy shoulder. 1.0-2.0 ft. tall. Perennial, some with last years flowering stalks still attached. Most with multiple stems from the base. Population just starting to flower. In this population also grows the radiate taxon G. subalpina E. Greene, although none of these are blooming as of this date. Hybids between these two taxa have also been collected from this population (Wetter 940. 20 Aug 1986) and Wetter 1045. This is the same population as that of Wetter 938 (20 Aug 1986).
