Occasional in low-lying wet places in remnant prairie with
Cyperus pseudovegetus var. pseudovegetus, Eleocharis
compressa var. acutisquamata, Fimbristylis puberula var.
puberula, Panicum virgatum, Rhynchospora globularis,
Scleria pauciflora var. pauciflora, Steinchisma hians, and
Symphyotrichum spp.
