Scattered in black, sandy soil along shoulder
of road above the Arkansas River. 1.1-2.2 ft.
tall. Most plants branching from the base
making small multi-stemmed clumps. Perennials,
most plants forming new rosettes on flowering
plants. Growing with usual roadside weeds,
Lactuca & Helianthus.
