S of Academy Blvd. (CO hwy 83) exit, this just S of city limits of Colorado Springs. Plants growing in clayish soil on roadside bank. Scattered individuals. 1.25-2.3 ft. tfifll. Perennials, flowering plants forming new rosettes. Most plants with multiple stems arising from a woody taproot. Growing intermixed with Wetter 514A (G. revoluta).
