CO: Montrose Co. Along US 50, 2.9 ml W of Montrose-Gunnison Co. line, 1.3 ml E of Cimarron, at the power station (transformers) near Cimarron. Plants only seen growing right at edge of hwy in rocky shoulder, right at point where pavement ends. 2.4-4.1 dm tall.
Most plants with multiple stems from
woody taproot. Obviously perennial,
with new rosettes forming on flowering
plants. Area and plants possibly have
been mowed.
